Economic Empowerment Program Coordinator:
WoW’s Economic Empowerment Program builds on our mission to empower women from all nations to achieve independence, economic success, and a voice in the community by connecting women to their new community in Utah.
Your role will spearhead WoW’s Economic Empower Program initiatives, which include our Employer Partnership program, job coaching and placement, and scholarships. Your efforts will focus on expanding and strengthening this Program for greater effectiveness and sustainability, while better supporting forcibly displaced women and their integration and self-reliance in Utah. As you will be working with client programs, you will also meet directly with clients in case management 50% of your time. Case Management services include an array of support services such as referral for health care, childcare, housing, utility assistance, language, and vocational training, family wellness training, emergency financial assistance, and transportation and interpreter/translation assistance to help clients access and utilize services in culturally and linguistically appropriate manners. Your hands-on experience with clients will give you valuable practical experience to develop Economic Empowerment initiatives that will produce greater outcomes for our clients.


Program Responsibilities (50%)
• Develop strategies and plans for economic empowerment initiatives, set clear objectives and create actionable steps to achieve those objectives
• Supervise the execution of economic empowerment projects
• Research and update WoW’s database on potential partners and career development opportunities in the community
• Reach out and engage with businesses in the community to initiate strong partnerships
• Develop client summaries for established partners and maintain positive relationships
• Monitor partnership levels and develop advocacy incentives
• Craft client and donor-oriented materials for the Economic Empowerment Program, encompassing training resources, workshop materials, and promotional content.
• Track EEP data accurately through Salesforce reports and dashboards; report regularly to executives and the marketing and development team
• Coordinate the Employment team and ensure clear communication of programmatic objectives and reporting.
• As directed, evaluate program impact, collect data, craft reports to evaluate initiative success, and communicate outcomes
• Coordinate special events catering to our client’s needs.
• Represent the organization in meetings and various outreach activities.
• Document Economic Empowerment policies and procedures as needed.


Case Management Responsibilities (50%)
• Provide case management services to clients in all economic empowerment activities, including resume creation, job coaching, searching, and preparation
• Provide case management services including coordinating housing, medical appointments, inter-agency referrals, orientation/client education, school enrollments, employment placement, preparation, etc.
• Support other case managers in their roles and inform them of Economic Empowerment initiatives
• Serve as an advocate for clients Skills & Experience
• Management experience preferred
• Program coordination experience preferred
• Previous Salesforce experience preferred
• Excellent computer and software skills, including Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Dropbox, Asana
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Flexibility and creativity
• A self-starter
• Strong desire to help forcibly displaced women achieve economic self-reliance
• Experience working with people in poverty and/or ESL speakers
• Fluency in Spanish, French, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Farsi, or another of our client’s languages
